Sharonians made themselves felt on social media recently making their idol Sharon Cuneta's name trend on Twitter.

Apparently, some of them have suggested that she be cast in the lead for the PH remake of the hit series "Doctor Foster."

None too soon, the hashtag #Sharon Cuneta Dr. FosterPh trended on the platform.

The Megastar could only be happy.

She posted, "OMG! Thank you so much! Would absolutely love to play her!!!"

Sharon even tagged ABS-CBN Head of Entertainment Lauren Dyogi.

Suggestions as to who will star in the show made noise on social media recently with BBC and ABS-CBN announcing the PH remake.

Judy Ann Santos and Bea Alonzo were among others mentioned to play Doctor Foster.
