Pia Wurtzbach lauds various community pantries across PH

Pia Wurtzbach has expressed support for the community pantry deeming it "proof of the undying spirit of Bayanihan."

"I took some time to really think about it and really understand better what we are faced with as a nation. For me, the community pantry is a really good initiative. Yet again, it is proof of the undying spirit of Bayanihan," she wrote on Twitter.

However, she also understands the hesitations and concerns of some, particularly in relation to ongoing health protocols.

"It's been a year since the pandemic hit and everyone is just trying their best to survive. I think it's a call for us to help in any and every way that we can. Share what we can, stay home if we can," she related.

The Miss Universe 2015 also advised her followers to get vaccinated soon as they get the opportunity.

"It's a great reminder of what we can achieve together," she said. "We can and we should demand a better system."
