Maui Taylor recalls working with Oscar winner Youn Yuh-jung

Youn Yuh-jung made history recently, becoming the first Korean actor ever to win an Academy Award.

Among those happy for her win is actress Maui Taylor.

Youn and Maui worked together prior in the 2012 thrillerÂ "The Taste of Money."

Maui recalled Youn as "intimidating at first."

Eventually though, they became quite close, with Maui noting how "motherly" Youn was.

Youn won the Oscar for best supporting actress for her performance as the sly, foul-mouthed but incredibly loving grandmother in "Minari."
