Korean dramas 'Mouse,' 'Monster' actress Chun Jung-ha found dead

Korean actress Chun Jung-ha, who appeared in the K-dramas “Mouse,” “Monster” and “The King: Eternal Monarch,” died on April 27. She was 51.

Her family told Korean media that the actress, who usually suffered from hypotension, or low blood pressure, was found dead at her home at about 12:30 p.m on Tuesday. The cause of death was presumed to be kidney failure. 

Chun Jung-ha was active in theater, film and TV. She graduated from Hongik University and had acted since 1990. 

On the Korean drama “Mouse,” which is currently airing on tvN, Chun Jung-ha played the role of the mother of Na Chi-kook, played by actor Lee Seo-jun. 

Her other film and drama credits include “Radio Dayz,” “Phoenix,” “Flower of Evil,” “Stranger” and “More Than Friends.” Chun Jung-ha won a popularity award at the 2002 Baeksang Arts Awards.

Her funeral service is at the funeral hall of the Seoul National University Hospital and her burial is set on April 30. Chun Jung-ha is survived by a husband and a daughter.
