More than 925,000 individuals have recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday, April 27, reported 10,109 new recoveries bringing the total recoveries to 925,027.

The total number of COVID-19 cases also rose to 1,013,618 with the addition of 7,204 new cases.
The case bulletin of the DOH also showed 63 new deaths which brought the total number of deaths to 16,916.
Of the 71,675 active cases, 95.2 percent were mild, 1.5 percent were asymptomatic, 1.1 percent were critical, 1.3 percent were severe, 0.90 percent were moderate.
The DOH said 14 duplicates were removed from the total case count as eight of these were recoveries.
"Moreover, 26 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation," it said.
The Health department said two labs were not operational on April 25, 2021 while 22 labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS).
