'Tumuhog batay sa pangangailangan': Vendor offers fishball, kikiam to passersby
Drawing inspiration from the community pantries that have popped out across the country, a fishball vendor offered his goods for free to passersby after a nearby community pantry ran out of supplies.

John Rufinel Sagun, a volunteer from Ambagan PH, a group behind the nearby community pantry, said they bought everything Kuya Gil is selling to help him and to also offer something for those who have lined up in their community pantry.
We have been setting up our community pantry here. We noticed that every noon, a lot of street sweepers, vendors, delivery persons, construction workers, and motorists pass by our community pantry)" Sagun told the Manila Bulletin.
What we offer are not ready-to-eat and sometimes they run out easily. So we thought of distributing free street food to those who haven't had their meals yet while working on the streets)," he added.

Sagun said Kuya Gil even gave them a discount after they offered to buy his supplies and even provided free juice for passersby.
The people were very happy because it rained earlier so they couldn't go home right away, so at least they didn't go hungry)," Sagun added.
"Nakatulong din po tayo sa kabuhayan ni Kuya Gil, naubos agad ang paninda nya (We also helped Kuya Gil's livelihood, his stocks ran out immediately."
