LOOK: DepEd Chief named 2021 'Hiyas sang Sipalay Awardee'

Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones was named as the “Hiyas sang Sipalay Awardee” 2021 in the field of Education for her extraordinary contribution in advancing the right for quality education of students in the country - especially amid the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

Briones thanked the Awards Committee and the Sipalay City Culture and Arts Council for the said recognition.

The "Hiyas sang Sipalay Awards" 2021 honors exceptional individuals and organizations that have made an invaluable mark in 20 years of the city and honored Sipalay at locally and internationally.
