Megastar Sharon Cuneta took to Instagram on Monday, April 26, to congratulate American-Filipino singer-composer H.E.R. who won best original song at the 93rd Oscar Awards in the US.

Cuneta wrote:

"Congratulations! I so love your music. I pray I get to meet you someday. God bless you always!

"CONGRATULATIONS to the Filipina and fellow Sharonian GABRIELLA SARMIENTO WILSON for winning BEST THEME SONG in the OSCARS!!! (OSCAR's Best Original Song is HER’s composition “Fight For You” from the movie “Judas and the Black Messiah”. )

Cuneta shared a screenshot of an article by Ruben Nepales who reported that H.E.R. 'listened to a lot of Sharon Cuneta.' Her full post:

H.E.R., 23, is a Grammy-winning artist. In 2019, she won Grammys for Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Album.

In 2020, H.E.R. (an acronym for Having Everything Revealed) was nominated for five awards at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year for “I Used to Know Her” and Song of the Year “Hard Place.”
