Derek Ramsay not apologetic over telling interview on break up with Andrea Torres: 'I've always been honest'

Derek Ramsay has broken his silence amid commotion caused by his candid interview on Cristy Perminute, wherein he detailed that he dumped Andrea Torres over the phone.

Ramsay told GMA News, “I did really speak about it. (Pero) 'di ako nagbanggit ng mga detalye. Respeto ko ‘yon kay Andrea at sa parents ni Andrea."

The hunk actor who is now engaged to actress Ellen Adarna added, “It’s just that Tita Cristy asked me kung may kinalaman ba ang parents ni Andrea (sa aming hiwalayan) and I just answered honestly."

"I’ve always been honest. I didn’t give the details. I’m not saying na mali sila kung narinig ninyo po ang sagot ko. It’s more of values namin. We’re very different.

"I’m not saying my values are better than hers or hers is better than mine. Mine is right and hers is wrong. It’s just that we were brought up differently and that’s what led to break up because I don’t want to change her, she doesn’t wanna change me,” he ended.

Just recently, Andrea came out to appeal for Derek to stop mentioning her in interviews.

She quipped, "If he truly respects me and my family, he'll let us have our peace."
