Following confirmation that two members of K-pop boy band D-Crunch have tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19), other members of the group and artists who have appeared on TV music shows with them or became close contacts underwent testing.

I-Grand Korea announced on April 24 that D-Crunch members Hyun-wook and O.V both tested positive for COVID-19.

On April 25, the agency released a statement to say that the other members of D-Crunch--Hyunho, Hyunoh, Minhyuk, Chanyoung, Jungseung and Dylan--tested negative for the virus.

K-pop artists Kang Daniel, OnlyOneOf, Yoon Ji-sung, DKB and BAE173 have also tested negative for COVID-19.

I-Grand Korea added that Hyun-wook and O.V are currently in an isolation facility while the remaining members, while testing negative, are classified as close contacts and are now under quarantine.

As a result, D-Crunch’s promotions for the song “My Name,” the carrier track of their new album “Daydream,” has ended and the future schedule will be announced later, the agency added.

On the other hand, Jun, member of K-pop boy band U-KISS, was also tested and was found to be negative of COVID-19.

Jun recently appeared on the web show “Naver NOW Serizabeth” hosted by Korean golf legend Park Se-ri, who tested positive for COVID-19 on April 24 after getting in contact with musical actor Son Jun-ho, who was earlier found to have the virus.

After learning that Park Se-ri is positive for COVID-19, Jun immediately underwent testing and got a negative result.

However, since he is a close contact of Park Se-ri, he needs to be under quarantine for two weeks, and will be unable to join the promotion of his KBS2 drama “Imitation,” which will start airing on May 7. “Imitation” will star actresses Jung Ji-so and Park Ji-yeon, Yunho of ATEEZ and Jun.

Jun apologized for causing inconvenience to the staff and actors who are currently filming the drama.

Son Jun-ho was a guest on Park Se-ri’s show on April 21 and he tested positive on April 23. K-pop boy band JYJ’s Kim Junsu, actor Shin Sung-rok and musical actress Kim So-hyun, who were also guests on the show with Son Jun-ho, all tested negative for COVID-19.
