NETIZENS ASK: Is Tekla back to his old habits?

Many are worried with comedian Tekla looking seemingly exhausted if altogether unwell in recent TV appearances.

Some also noticed that he has seemingly lost a lot of weight.

Malicious fans were quick to assume he is back on drugs.

Note Tekla admitted to drug dependency problems prior, relating how it came about as triggered by depression.

In any case, he has since come out to belie he is using drugs anew.

In a video he shared though YouTube, he clarified that he has simply been remiss focusing on his appearance due to mere laziness.

“Lately kasi pag nagba-vlog tayo, tinatamad akong mag-make-up. Minsan kasi nagkakaroon tayo ng petiks eh. Ako, especially sa akin, medyo may slight tamad factor din ako, eh.”

“So kapag tinopak, sige ‘te, okay na ‘yan. Mema lang. May ma-video lang or may mai-content lang na hindi ko isinaalang-alang kung ano magiging looks ko, kung ano magiging dating sa tao.”

He also maintained his seeming weight loss is intentional, the result of dieting.

“Tinitingnan ko rin ‘yung itsura ko kasi required din sa TV, sa amin sa TBATS. Sa TBATS, kapag tinitingnan ‘yung frame mo, hindi na magandang tingnan, so kailangan mong magdiyeta.”

He apologized to fans for being careless with his appearance of late.

“Sorry I forgot that ‘Ay, performer pala ako.’ Tinitingnan pala ako ng tao so kailangan ‘yung itsura ko presentable, maayos,” Tekla said.
