Jackpot! Quezon bettor wins P24 million Super Lotto 6/49 prize
A lucky bettor from Quezon province bagged the P24.4 million Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot prize, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Friday, April 23.

PCSO, in a public advisory, said the winning ticket for the Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot was bought in Lucban, Quezon. The winner bagged a total of P24, 438, 458.20 jackpot prize in the Super Lotto 6/49 which was drawn on on Thursday, April 22.
The latest millionaire guessed the winning combination 12-05-30-10-28-27. The 6/42 Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Likewise, a total of 28 bettors - who guessed five correct numbers - also won second prize and will receive P50,000 each.
PCSO reminded the winner that in claiming the check, he or she must go to PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two identification cards.
The public is reminded that prizes above P10,000 are subject to 20% tax pursuant to the TRAIN law. As per RA 1169, PCSO said that “prizes not claimed by the public within one year from the date of draw shall be considered forfeited.”
PCSO has various initiatives such as health programs and medical assistance or services - among others. Thus, it continues to urge the public to patronize its games so the office can generate funds to be used in providing assistance to Filipinos who are in need.
One of PCSO’s key programs is the Medical Access Program designed to augment the medical needs of Filipinos nationwide - particularly hospital confinement, chemotherapy, dialysis, and post-transplant medicines.
On April 12, the PCSO announced that the selling of lotto tickets and other digit games – including the conduct of Small Town Lottery (STL) draws – remains suspended from April 12 to 30, 2021 in areas under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) including Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal as well as Santiago City, Quirino, and Abra.
