Angel Locsin on lolo who died at community pantry: 'Humihingi po ako ng tawad'

Actress Angel Locsin has issued a statement on the tragic death of a senior citizen who lined up at the community pantry she organized on Friday to coincide with her birthday.

The lolo, identified as Rolando dela Cruz, 67, fainted while waiting in line at the community pantry.

He died in a hospital later.

Investigation on his death is still ongoing.

Said Angel, "Humihingi ako ng tawad sa pamilya...habang buhay po ako hihingi ng patawad sa kanila..."

She added, "ang nangyari po ay akin pong pagkakamali. Sana po'y wag madamay ang ibang community pantries naa maganda po ang nagyari...I am very sorry."
