Angel Locsin shows support for 'Stop Asian Hate' campaign

Angel Locsin proved that she will not be silent and let racial inequalities become rampant in our society.

The "real-life Darna" expressed her sentiments regarding Asian hate in an Instagram post: "To my fellow Filipinos and to everyone of Asian descent who are experiencing cowardly attacks and racial slurs, I may not be the one experiencing this, but I stand with you.

"Anti-Asian racism or any acts of hate against a human being is like a virus that can easily spread anywhere if not stopped. So, no matter how frightening, stand and speak up against this pointless hatred- instead of shrugging it off-because this will not go away on its own. Let's help each other," she added.

Angel ended her post by urging Filipinos abroad to learn self-defense, report to the proper authorities and look for one another.

Her fiance, Neil Arce, reacted with some raised hands emoji while veteran journalist Karen Davila also commented, "YES!!! Thank you for this! Permission to do post similar Angel."

The post earned some positive comments and support from the people, garnering over 129,000 likes as of writing.

Angel, 35, is known for her philanthropic works, advocacies and being socially-active aside from her unforgettable TV and movie roles in "Mulawin" "The Legal Wife," and "Four Sisters and a Wedding" to name a few.
