Star Image Artist Management has suspended their talent artists Buknoy Glamurrr and Gabriel “Gabo” Adeva after they got embroiled in a scandal involving celebrities Awra, Vice Ganda, and Ion Perez.

According to the talent firm, Buknoy and Gabo will be working with their existing projects for one month without pay. 

"It's part of our agreed signed contract na kapag may ganyang misconduct, you need to be reprimanded," said David Cabawatan, manager of Buknoy and Gabo.

They will also impose a penalty of P100,000 to each talent, in which the amount will be donated to the poor affected by the pandemic.

David noted how the "issue" and "mess" greatly affected their business as the stars' misconduct reflected on their management.

With the damage already done, David reiterated that they won't tolerate Buknoy and Gabo's wrongdoing as they fabricated a story about Awra and Vice Ganda.

"So whatever legal actions of Vice Ganda at ng kanyang kampo, we need to accept that, especially the two of you."

Prior, Star Image Artist Management also released this statement:
"This is to inform the public that Star Image Artist Management will not tolerate the irresponsible actions of Gabriel “Gabo” Adeva and Andrew Luis Lapid a.k.a. “Buknoy Glamurrr”. With the recent incident involving Ms. Vice Ganda, Mr. Ion Perez and Ms. Awra Briguela in a TikTok live video, the management decided to impose immediate disciplinary action and to suspend Gabo and Buknoy for 1 month without pay, and penalize them with a fine of One Hundred Thousand pesos each due to misconduct. We sincerely apologize to the involved personalities and rest assured that we will do necessary disciplinary actions as stated beforehand."
