Scorching hot Aura PH destroys Smart Omega for 3rd straight win and group lead in MPL

Showing up with an aggressive playstyle, Aura PH hardly broke a sweat in sweeping Smart Omega, 2-0, to keep its winning streak going in the MPL Philippines Season 7 on Sunday night, April 18. 

Aura did not give Omega enough farming space and breathing room with its relentless aggression all over the map to seize its third straight win in Moonton's local professional league. 

The Michael Angelo "Arcadia" Bocado-coached team also regained the Group A top spot from Work Auster Force as it hiked its tally to 11 points on a 4-1 series win-loss record. 

Aura's strategic mentor Steven "DaleDalus" Vitug notched his first triumph over his former team Omega in such a dominant fashion. 

Coach Tony "Ynot" Senedrin's Omega suffered its second consecutive defeat and stayed at No. 4 in Group B with seven points on a 2-3 card. 

With its high-mobility draft, Aura dictated the tempo right from the get-go by winning team fights then securing objectives for an easy 20-6 victory in Game 1. 

With Benedict "Bennyqt" Gonzales' Alice at the forefront, Aura scored a 4-for-nothing trade then demolished Omega's tier-one mid turret and got the first Turtle to erect a 9-3 lead and 3K gold advantage. 

Bennyqt and company never looked behind from there as they wrapped the series opener in 14 minutes. 

Aura sustained its momentum with another aggressive lineup centered on Mark "LORD HADESS" Lazaro's Harley and Allen "Greed" Baloy's signature Selena. 

Arcadia's crew built an 18-3 kill score lead and a 15K gold buffer 13 minutes into the game but they showed discipline by waiting for the Lord to respawn for the finishing blow. 

Lord Hadess singlehandedly slayed the Luminous Lord before Aura closed out the 19-3 rout in 15 minutes, with his Harley posting a perfect record of six kills and nine assists.
