Jhong Hilario leaves 'Your Face Sounds Familiar' for his newborn baby

Admittedly one of his hardest decisions yet, Jhong Hilario stepped down from his part in the 3rd season of ABS-CBN's variety-competition show "Your Face Sounds Familiar."

This decision came as a shocker for the viewers as he explained his decision over a Zoom call with host Luis Manzano last Saturday, April 17.

"Nakakalungkot na sabihin ito sa inyong lahat, kailangan ko munang magpaalam sa 'Your Face Sounds Familiar.'

"Meron kasing bata na alam mo, kapag may naramdaman ang bata hindi siya nakakapagsalita eh."

He went on narrating how he had sleepless nights before leading to his decision.

Jhong, 44, and her long-time partner Maia Azores welcomed their newborn baby girl Sarina back on March 27.

The "Sample King" also told Luis that his priority would be his family, as seen in his recent absence on "It's Showtime!" when it went on air live last April 15, and now with his decision to leave YFSF.
