Korean media outfits are on fire from resurfaced reports of Lee Jong Suk and Kwon Nara dating, especially with rumors that the “Pinocchio” actor gifted the “Itawon Class” star with a Ferrari.

While the two actors have yet to officially confirm their relationship through their shared agency or social media, here’s what we know about their rumored relationhip.

Backgorund
Lee Jong Suk, who starred in hit dramas like “Pinocchio”, “W: Two Worlds” and “While You Were Sleeping” opposite stars Park Shin Hye, Han Hyo Joo and Suzy Bae, was a long-time talent of YG Entertainment before he signed with YNK Entertainment. He terminated his contract with his new agency a few months later to establish A-Man Project, to manage his own career.

Kwon Nara rose to fame as a member of Kpop idol group HELLOVENUS before embarking on an acting career. She first appeared in a supporting role for Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun’s drama “Suspicious Partner” before carving out a name for herself as a leading lady through her works in “Your Honor”, “Doctor Prisoner”, “Itaewon Class” and most recently, “Royal Detective Agency”. She used to be an artist under Fantagio Entertainment but signed with A-Man Project in 2019.

How they met
According to reports, the two met via one of Kwon Nara’s HELLOVENUS members. It was said that Lee Jong Suk immediately took a liking to Kwon Nara and actively took steps to convince her to sign with his agency when her contract with Fantagio expired.

How they reportedly started dating
It was first reported by Newsis in July 2019 that the couple were dating.

While there were no snaps of the two while they went out on dates, there were reports that Lee Jong Suk and Kwon Nara stepped out on dates discreetly and that Kwon Nara was often spotted in Lee Jong Suk’s cafe 89 Mansion.

According to rumors, Lee Jong Suk charmed her with gifts and attention until she agreed to date him. She is reportedly known among their close friends as Lee Jong Suk’s girl.

Dating status
In 2019, A-Man Project denied that the pair were dating. Instead, they maintained that actors only share a close senior-junior relationship. They continued to keep mum on the issue as Lee Jong Suk completed his mandatory enlistment as a civil servant.

However, in a recent vlog by Youtuber Kim Yonho, he casually dropped the bombshell that the pair was “still” dating and that Lee Jong Suk even gifted his rumored girlfriend with a Ferrari.

Some Korean netizens in the celebrity thread Pann shared that they were not surprised over the news since the two actors were not doing anything to hide their feelings for each other. They were merely shocked over the extravagant gift.

"It's not like they're trying to hide their feelings for each other, plus the only two celebrities in Lee Jong-suk's agency are Lee Jong-suk and Kwon Nara," one fan wrote.

A-Man Project has yet to respond to the fresh wave of dating news, but it seems that most fans do not have any objections to the pairing, given that both celebrities have pretty much kept their noses clean throughout their career.
