Stephen Loman (BRAVE CF)

Team Lakay's Stephen Loman revealed on Saturday, April 17, that he has finished the required 14-day quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19 weeks ago.

Speaking on the Fitness & Wellness Sports Zone podcast, Loman gave updates on his quarantine life after being pulled out of the ONE on TNT card alongside Lito Adiwang, who also contracted the coronavirus.

Loman was supposed to debut in ONE Championship against No. 1 bantamweight contender John Lineker, a former UFC fighter.

"Every morning kasi malamig dito sa Baguio. Sinisipon na ako noon normal lang 'yon. Pero hindi ko naman inakala na nag-positive na pala ako dahil sa sipon at kaunting ibo. Unexpected (It's very cold every morning here in Baguio. I had common colds but that I thought it was normal. I did not expect that I already tested positive with common colds and mild cough. Really unexpected)," recalled Loman, the longest-reigning champion in BRAVE Combat Federation.

"'Yung nag-quarantine ako, nawawala na 'yung mga symptoms, gumagaling na, 'di naman ako nahirapan huminga. Nag-rest ako nang nag-rest tapos kumain nang kumain ng healthy food at nag-take din ako ng mga vitamins para strong ang immune system (During quarantine, all the symptoms were cleared, I already recovered, and I did not have any difficulty in breathing, I just rested well, ate healthy food, and took vitamins for stronger immune system)," added the Team Lakay stalwart, who was replaced by Troy Worthen in ONE on TNT III.

The 28-year-old Loman urged fans and the public to remain vigilant against COVID-19 and to always follow the protocols amid the surging cases in the country.

Meanwhile, a replacement for Adiwang against world No. 1 strawweight Jarred Brooks has yet to be announced but the bout was pulled out of the ONE on TNT II card.
