Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo conquers Hollywood

Amid the iconic Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles, California, reigning Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo blew kisses as she took a break from her pageant activities.

The photo was shared by Jonas Gaffud, creative director of Miss Universe Philippines, on Instagram April 16. Rabiya also strolled down Beverly Hills.

Rabiya and the Philippine delegation have completed quarantine protocols in the US ahead of the 69th Miss Universe beauty pageant which will be held in Florida on May 16 (May 17 Manila time).

The beauty queen from Iloilo vowed to do her best in the prestigious pageant.

"Ibubuhos ko ang lahat ng lakas sa laban na ito at taas noo kong sasabihin, ‘Ikinararangal kong maging modernong Pilipina sa isip, sa puso, sa diwa, sa salita at sa gawa," Rabiya said.
