Hours after Latino power couple Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez officially announced their breakup, the American baseball superstar shared an Instagram story where he looked at photos of JLo while listening to Coldplay.

The IG story was shared by popular entertainment website Pop Crave on April 15. Watch:

On April 15, Lopez and Rodriguez issued a joint statement to today.com that they have separated.

“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support,” the former couple said.

On March 13, US media initially reported that the Latino power couple have split. But later, Lopez was quick to issue a statement that she and Alex were still trying to fix their relationship. On April 15, Lopez and Rodriguez decided to end their engagement.

Lopez, 51, and Rodriguez, 45, have been together for four years. They were supposed to get married in 2020 but it was cancelled due to the pandemic.

The couple got engaged in March 2019.
