VisMin Cup calls off three-game bill as GAB, tournament officials investigate controversial match
The VisMin Super Cup postponed three games that were supposed to be played Thursday, April 15, due to the investigation surrounding the controversial game between ARQ Builders-Lapu-Lapu City and Siquijor the other day.
KCS-Mandaue was supposed to take Tabogon at 2 p.m. followed by matches pitting MJAS Zenith-Talisay against Siquijor and Tubigon Bohol opposite Dumaguete at the Civic Center in Alcantara, Cebu.
But officials led by secretary-general Chelito Caro decided to call off the games to focus on how to deal with the Lapu-Lapu-Siquijor contest that saw players from both teams miss several free throws and layups in a questionable manner.

Lapu-Lapu was up 27-13 at halftime when the league halted the match, citing a power interruption inside the venue.
A few clips of the game later surfaced on social media, prompting an expression of displeasure from several PBA players and other members of the local basketball community.
Chooks-to-Go president Ronald Mascarinas also threatened to pull out as title sponsor of the league unless a full disclosure of the incident is made.
VisMin Super Cup CEO Rocky Chan is scheduled later in the day to announce its findings.
The Games and Amusements Board, which granted the league professional status, is also conducting its own probe.
