Vice Ganda details what motivates him to start vlogging

At a glance, it may not seem like it, but Vice Ganda has been feeling the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jobs were lost, and the surmounting effects brought by the continuous lockdowns and non-renewal of franchise ultimately pushed the ace comedian to try vlogging. As he explained in a recent interview: “So since walang TV anong paraan? So the only way na patok nung panahon na 'yun is 'yung mga online shows. So kailangan mo siyang pasukin so pinasok ko 'yung YouTube."

Vice Ganda went on saying that the pandemic will not stop him from "serving his purpose" to bring joy for his millions of followers.

“Ayoko na bumalik sa paghihirap. Hello, nanggaling na ako dun. At nagbabad na ako dun ng bongga. So ngayon nasa ganito akong posisyon, hindi ko puwedeng pabayaan 'yung kung anong meron ako, kailangan ko pangalagaan 'yung estado ng buhay ko. Kailangan ko pa rin kumita,” Vice added.

To his credit, The ace comedian is killing it with his vlog contents, consistently garnering millions of views on his YouTube channel.

Aside from that, Vice remains one of the most anticipated acts on ABS-CBN's "It's Showtime" for his comedic hosting.
