Rabiya Mateo makes first public appearance in LA ahead of 69th Miss Universe pageant

Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo made her first public appearance in Los Angeles, California on April 15, ahead of the 69th Miss Universe beauty pageant in Florida in the US on May 16.

Mateo joined the visit to the O Skin Med Spa in Los Angeles, the official skin care partner of the 69th Miss Universe pageant, owned by Chinese-Filipino Olivia Quido-Co.

Joining Mateo in the corporate visit were Miss Universe El Salvador Vanessa Velasquez and Miss Universe Colombia Laura Olascuaga.

Mateo wore a custom Veejay Floresca for the pre-pageant activity.

More than 70 candidates will vie for the title of Miss Universe on May 16 (May 17 in Manila).
