Over 10,000 residents receive cash aid in Pasay

Pasay City has already distributed cash assistance to 10,584 of its residents as of Wednesday, April 14.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the release of the cash aid has been "slow" due to problems like deletion of names in the list of beneficiaries.

Rubiano however assured that the problems in the distribution are already being acted upon.

The local government of Pasay has also asked the Department of interior and Local Government (DILG) for an extension of cash aid distribution.

Local government units (LGUs) were given 15 days to distribute the financial aid given by the national government in response to the re-implementation of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in the National Capital Region Plus (NCR Plus) bubble.

Pasay received P348 million cash aid from the national government for distribution to the city's 123,000 beneficiaries.
