Why Cherry Pie Picache loves contravida roles

Don't expect to see Cherry Pie Picache playing goody-goody characters any time soon.

She simply cannot deny the fact that she loves to play "contravida roles."

She explained in an interview Monday, "Kontrabida roles talaga gusto ko, marami 'kang pwedeng gawin; nakakapagod kapag yung mga nanay roles, puro iyak!"

Cherry is currently playing the role of Amelia in "Walang Hanggang Paalam," which is nearing its finale.

She commended everyone in the cast and the rest of those in production for their work and dedication in the last seven months.

Cherry, 50, had a tough experience recently as she battled COVID-19.

"Hanggang ngayon nagpapalakas pa, pero siyempre dapat tuloy ang buhay so dapat you have to continuously prepare when you go out. Take vitamins, monitor oxygen levels," she related.
