Fan attacks Janine Gutierrez for question on MECQ

Janine Gutierrez recently argued with a fan who didn't like it that she was asking about conditions relating to the MECQ.

"Paulit ulit na lang yang ganyang system sa Pinas, until now hindi mo pa din alam? Or at least magbasa ka from the official news of the government, kesa nag tatanong ka, na ang dating tamad ka i update ang sarili mo," an irate online user said.

Janine replied: "Ay hindi pa po talaga sila nag-aannounce. bukas pa daw. wait mo rin (smiling face with smiling eyes emoji)."

Recall that over the weekend, President Duterte has approved recommendation to place the National Capital Region-plus (NCR-plus) bubble under the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) until the end of the month.

The same Twitter user lectured Janine to simply "wait for the official announcement then you do not have to ask the netizens who are confused as well. Full stop."

Though the actress ended the said thread hanging, she retweeted another user's rant about the inconvenience of delaying the clarification.

"Ayun na nga. intay muna ulit. mahirap talaga magplano sa gobyernong walang plano para sayo. kapit," she wrote.
