Filipina bet Lara Pearl Alvarez has expressed nothing but gratitude for ONE Championship CEO and founder Chatri Sityodtong for giving her a chance of a lifetime through "The Apprentice."

Alvarez, 25, took it to social media and thanked Sityodtong for the life lessons and opportunities while competing for the ultimate prize of becoming the protege of the ONE Championship chief.

The former Team Lakay athlete said she is coming home as "a better warrior in life" after being eliminated in the third episode of "The Apprentice."

"I'm carrying with me a better understanding of who I am and who I can be, which is my biggest takeaway for this experience," said Alvarez, who is an accountant by profession. "Thank you Chatri Sityodtong  for reviving my faith in myself and in what I can do; for reminding me of the things I have forgotten about myself; for seeing my beauty inside and the real warrior spirit within me; for awakening my dreams that I once put to the side, thinking that they were no longer possible."

Alvarez earlier hinted at the possibility of returning to her first love, which is combat sports, but nothing has been cast in stone yet.

Alvarez, however, said she is eager to prove her worth once again and vowed to meet Sityodtong at the right time -- be it as a ONE Championship staff or as an athlete.

Sityodtong, an entrepreneur,  philanthropist, and martial artist himself, has been known to serve as a huge inspiration for many aspiring athletes and professionals for his passion and character not only as a career person but as a human being.

This is pretty much evident when some of "The Apprentice" participants cited him as "someone to look up" to in the past three episodes of the series.

After being part of the show, Alvarez has realized that "nothing is impossible for those who want to make a difference in their lives and the people around them."

"My whole story is still being written and this is just the beginning. I'll work harder to break free of all the walls around me and unleash my greatness. One day, the world will see a better version of Lara and I'll meet you again, as a better person," said the former wushu and taekwondo practitioner.

Meanwhile, compatriot Louie Sangalang, a former mixed martial arts champion, is still in for the long haul after his impressive showing in the recent episodes both in the physical and business challenges.
