Vicki Belo recalls how a Makati mayor imprisoned her for being 'pakialamera'

Celebrity doctor Vicki Belo has shared the jail experience she had a few years ago.

The story was brought up during her recent vlog where she submitted to "Lie Detector Challenge" with her husband Hayden Kho.

"Have you ever run from the police," the hunk doctor asked, to which Vicki denied.

"Sinungaling ka," Hayden added in jest. "'Di ka tumakbo ever sa police? 'Di ba nakulong ka before?"

"'Di ako tumakbo! Nakulong nga eh," Vicki quipped.

Then she went on to share the experience.

"So dati may Mayor, hindi ko na sasabihin kung sino sa Makati, tapos 'yung driver ko nag da-drive ng car, kasi may sirang kotse dito, kumaliwa. So ang dami namin nag tu-turn eh galing 'yung mayor na 'yun sa kabilang side. So nagalit siya kasi bina-block ng mga tao 'yung way," she recalled.

Vicki continued: "So pinapunta niya lahat ng bodyguard sa lahat ng kotse para dalhin lahat ng mga drivers sa jail."

Though she wasn't behind the wheel, the doctor got out of the car and tried to defend the drivers.

"Eh ako naman passenger lang po ako, pero pakialamera. So sabi ko 'This is not right! You know, wala naman silang ginawa and I need to talk to my lawyer, I need to ask him if this is right,'" she said then.

"And sabi ng Mayor, 'Ikulong mo rin siya.' So nakulong din ako."

Vicki said that in the beginning, she was enjoying it as a "bagong experience," but later she felt scared after staying inside the prison for 10 hours already.

"Tinanong ko: 'Kailan ba kami papalabasin?' 'Pag naalala raw ni Mayor. So ewan ko. I had to stay there for so long. Wala pang cellphone nu'n. Ang tagal na nu'n (nangyari)."
