Remains of OPM icon Claire dela Fuente cremated, says son

The remains of OPM icon Claire dela Fuente were cremated a day after she passed away on March 30.

Gregorio “Gigo” De Guzman, son of Claire dela Fuente, shared the news on Instagram.

"My mom is being cremated tonight. My brother @thefurybot had to go there alone to witness it as he's the only one of us negative for COVID," Gigo wrote on March 31.

"At least now our mom is with our dad after so many years apart. Be happy na with papa, ma," he added.

Gigo confirmed that his mom was diagnosed with COVID-19 last week.

But he said that his mom did not die from the disease but “from cardiac arrest as … cause(ed by) stress and anxiety.”
