Last season’s Philippines Football League runner-up are currently training at the Blue Pitch in Makati City after its health and safety protocols were approved by the Games and Amusements Board and the city government.

The training is also part of Kaya’s campaign for the Copa Paulino Alcantara which could start next month.

Among those who have participated in the training sessions are Marco Casambre, Daizo Horikoshi, Dylan de Bruycker, Arnel Amita, Eric Giganto. Zach Banzon, Louie Michael Casas, Jovin Bedic, Marwin Angeles, Camelo Tacusalme, Shirmar Felongco, Simone Rota and Audie Menzi.

The club also said that Carlyle Mitchell and Kenshiro Daniels are due to start participating in the coming weeks.

Kaya earned a spot in the qualifiers for the Champions League group stage for placing second in the shortened PFL season last October in Carmona, Cavite.

But Kaya will have a big task at hand as it aims to beat Brisbane on April 7 in order to advance to the playoff round opposite Chinese Super League side Shanghai Port.

Should it fail to reach the main stage of the Champions League, Kaya is already assured of a spot in Group I of the AFC Cup.
