Vice Ganda on his sneaker collection: 'It's my job to look good all the time'

"Sneakerheads" (like this writer) were in awe after catching a glimpse of what Vice Ganda has in store in his vast sneaker collection.

Vice showcased some of his all-time favorite sneakers on one of his recent vlog titled "SHOEper Unkabogable Sneaker Collection Vice."

And this includes, Nike Air Jordan collection. One was his Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Banned; one of his favorite pairs.

He also showed a sneaker that is close to his heart, a pair of Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro Mid in Deep Royal Blue.

Vice explained: "Ito, deep royal blue. 'Di ako mahilig sa mid, usually ang binibili ko lang low or high. 'Yung mga mid, 'di ako masyado mahilig pero gusto ko 'to. Nakita ko 'to sa Instagram. Sabi ko ang ganda ng kulay niya. Tapos nung narinig ni Ion na gusto ko 'to, 'di ko alam na in-order niya pala 'ko."

According to Vice, the reseller called him to say that Ion already purchased the product for him.

"Regalo sa akin 'to ni Ion bago mag-Pasko, kaya this is very special to me," said Vice.

The ace comedian went on to show his shoes from luxury brands Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin, Balenciaga, Gucci, Off-White, and Versace.

After detailing some personal stories about the shoes, Vice said that he is reluctant when it comes to re-selling shoes because of the possibility of gossip about him if he does re-sell.

What he's been doing is donating some of the shoes to his friends and  those in need.

And for those who might hate on Vice, for his lavish sneaker collection, he related: "Itong mga sapatos na 'to, kung sasabihin mo, parang ang worldly, ang evil na niya sa sobrang dami. Pero you must understand na it is my job to look good almost all the time. You have to be looking good kapag nakikita ka ng mga tao kasi siyempre binabayaran ka nila, eh. Kasama 'yan sa investment namin bilang mga artista, and at the same time pinaghirapan ko rin naman 'yung mga 'yan."
