Agot Isidro reacts to local telco firm having Chris Evans as endorser

Singer-actress Agot Isidro has called out a local telecommunications company which recently introduced Hollywood star Chris Evans as its newest ambassador.

"Hindi ko na naiintindihan, Smart. (women facepalming emoji)," Agot wrote on Twitter along with news of Chris Evans joining the family of wireless communications and digital services subsidiary of PLDT.

"Nakakarami ba talaga ng subscribers ang mga endorsers na yan?" she asked.

Recall that the "Captain America" star was unveiled as the face of Smart Communications’ “Live Smarter for a Better World” 2021 campaign.

Viewers were in for a treat as Chris ended the two-minute commercial film declaring “Simple, Smart Ako!”

Chris is joining some South Korean stars, who were also introduced for the past months as Smart's ambassadors like actor Park Seo-joon, seven-member boy band BTS, and reel-turned-real couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin.
