Samantha Bernardo finishes second at Miss Grand International 2020

Miss Philippines Samantha Bernardo won 1st runner-up at the Miss Grand International 2020 during a competition held in Bangkok, Thailand on Saturday, March 27.

Miss United States of America Evelyn Abena Appiah was crowned Miss Grand International 2020.

Appiah is a music therapist who works for children with special needs. In 2019, the Ghanaian-American model competed at the Miss Earth beauty pageant in Manila where she represented Ghana.

Other winners at Miss Grand International 2020 pageant were:

Guatemala, 2nd runner-up

Indonesia, 3rd runner-up

Brazil, 4th runner-up

Miss Grand International 2020 and her court

Mexico won Best in Evening Gown.

Other candidates who finished in the top 20 were: Cambodia (Country’s Choice of the year), Mexico, Thailand, Peru, Japan, El Salvador, Panama, Vietnam, Dominican Republic, Czech Republic, Puerto Rico, Myanmar, Argentina, England and Kenya.
