PAL cancels several domestic flights

Due to current restrictions of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Infectious Diseases (IATF) on non-essential travel in and out of Manila, Philippine Airlines (PAL) was compelled to cancel several domestic flights today (March 23) up to April 4.

For March 23 and 24, The airline cancelled its PR2039/2040 Manila-Caticlan - Manila flights.

The passengers on these cancelled flights will be accommodated on PR2041/2042 Manila - Caticlan - Manila on the same dates, March 23 and 24.

PAL also cancelled its PR1861 Manila - Cebu flights from March 23 to April 4.

The passengers on these flights will be accommodated on available PR1845 Manila - Cebu flights, PAL today announced.

PAL likewise cancelled its PR1836 Cebu - Manila flights from March 23 to April 4.

Passengers on these flights will be accommodated on available PR1846 Cebu - Manila flights.

Already, PAL has sent e-mail notifications to affected passengers.

Passengers of these cancelled flights can also avail of three options.

They can convert their ticket to a Travel Voucher and make the request until June 30, 2021.

Secondly, they can avail of unlimited rebooking (no rebooking fee) until December 31, 2021.

If they will be completing their travel in the same booking class by June 30, 2021 (or ticket validity, whichever comes first), there will be no fare difference charge;

Lastly, they can refund their ticket without penalties.

They can request for any of the options via the myPAL Request Hub at https://mypal.vip/url/RequestHub.

At present, all PAL flights operating between Manila and domestic stations shall carry only essential travelers ( Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs), Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) and Approved Persons Outside Residences).
