The COVID-19 vaccination rollout begins Monday, March 22, in the municipality of Morong, province of Rizal which is now under a two-week General Community Quarantine (GCQ).

The municipal government of Morong announced on its Facebook page that the vaccination rollout for health care workers (HCW) in Morong will happen at the Morong Gym (Raymundo Street entrance) for all health care professionals working in hospitals, both private and public clinics or hospitals, laboratories and their ancillary staff. All Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT) members, contract tracers, and other workers in any health-related establishments or those giving private or public health-resulted services are included in the rollout.
The HCW who would like to avail of the vaccination program March 22 - 23 at 9 a.m., should bring with them their valid ID or company ID as proof of their profession and their PhilHealth ID or number .
Even before Rizal Province was reverted to GCQ, Morong was among the municipalities in the province that reimposed strict measures in their localities, including the imposition of liquor ban March 18 - 31.
Public market, sari-sari stores, talipapa (mini wet markets) can only operate from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. while commercial establishments can operate only from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. in the municipality.
As of March 20, there were 19 additional cases in Morong, bringing the total number of active cases to 62.
