Beth Tamayo, 43, is pregnant via IVF

Actress Beth Tamayo has announced that she and her husband Adam Hutchinson are expecting their first baby.

"Bout time to tell the world that WE ARE PREGNANT!" Tamayo wrote on Instagram along with a concept shoot of her sonogram.

According to Tamayo, it wasn’t easy having a baby at her age. "But boy it was worth it!"

With the help of science - in vitro fertilization (IVF) - Tamayo was able to get pregnant at 43.

Though IVF is never an easy path, she's thankful for her doctor for the hands-on guidance and just being there for them every step of the way and advocating what is best for them.

Her husband also received an appreciation message for being her backbone all throughout the process.

"From day one, even if he can’t physically go inside the clinic (COVID protocol) to hold my hand and make sure I’m fine, he’s been there for me driving me to all of my appointments and just making sure I’m feeling great," she said. "The guy who’ve perfected the 'art of giving shots' and cheered me on every night. Telling me that I’m such a badass for going through all of this! Thanks Babe."

It was early this month when Tamayo tied the knot with her partner through a virtual ceremony.

Friends in show business congratulated Tamayo on having a baby.

"Sooooooooooo HAPPY FOR YOU, SIS!!! You deserve to have all of your heart’s desires! I love you very much. I cannot wait to meet my niece/nephew! May God bless and keep you safe always," megastar Sharon Cuneta commented.

Ara Mina wrote: "OMG what a blessing sis! Congrats again! Magiging mommy ka na rin. God is good talaga."

Iza Calzado and Tamayo's nephew Dominic Roque also reacted with heart emojis.
