'It's Showtime' to suspend its live staging due to COVID-19 surge

The daily noontime program "It's Showtime" announced on Sunday, March 21, that it will suspend temporarily its live staging due to the surge of COVID-19 cases in Metro Manila.

"To ensure the safety of our hosts and production team because of the surging COVID-19 cases in the country, ABS-CBN is suspending temporarily the live staging of 'It’s Showtime.'

"Thank you for your support and understanding," the statement read.
