Here's what safer space means for RWM

Published Mar 21, 2021 05:10 pm

Resorts World Manila (RWM) implements RWM 2.0, the integrated resort's (IR) new way of doing business aligned with the new realities. From 24/7 antivirus protection to in-house testing laboratories and smart disinfection and temperature chambers, the property makes sure it covers all bases for a safer space where guests can continue to enjoy non-stop thrills from dining and shopping, to staycation packages and gaming offers.

  1. nanoAce Technology

RWM is now the first and only IR that is equipped with nanoAce’s Photocatalyst System which leaves surfaces clean and hygienic 24/7. nanoAce is a powerful layer of protective photocatalyst coating which is activated when exposed to any form of light. Once applied on surfaces, nanoAce cleans and sanitizes itself to remove all harmful substances, viruses, bacteria, and molds. RWM’s Garden Wing VIP and Grand Wing gaming areas, especially high-touch areas such as slot machines, gaming tables, doorknobs, ATMs, and counters, among others have been treated and coated with nanoAce.

2. International standard of safety protocols for hotels

RWM’s Grand Wing Hotels Hilton Manila and Sheraton Manila Hotel are DOT-accredited hotels that accept leisure stays. Both have incorporated international health and safety sanitation protocols such as Marriott Global Hotel Cleanliness Program for Sheraton Manila and Hilton’s CleanStay. TShe enhanced protocols include touchless services and transactions that range from mobile check-ins to using digital or smartphone keys.

3. State-of-the-art machines and UVC lamps

State-of-the-art safety and sanitation technologies are installed within the property, including smart disinfection and temperature chambers, Multi-Quat sanitizers, and escalator handrail sanitizers. RWM has also integrated UVC disinfection lamp systems in its air conditioning units to sanitize the Grand Wing and Garden Wing gaming areas of viruses and other pathogens.

4. Anti-Virus Patrols

To ensure compliance with COVID-19 regulations, RWM deployed Anti-Virus Patrol (AVP) personnel around the whole property. The AVPs do round-the-clock surveillance to remind guests to wear masks and face shields and practice physical distancing.

5. Satellite testing center

RWM makes it more convenient for everyone to get tested through its accredited medical partner TLG Labs. The satellite testing center operates daily from 9am to 6pm at the ground floor of Newport Mall’s parking area.  Available tests include RT-PCR at P3,500 with results ready in 24 to 48 hours while Rapid Antibody, Rapid Antigen, and Saliva Antigen tests are also available at P1,200 per testing kit. Rates are inclusive of P300 worth of RWM dining vouchers.
