It seems like Asia's songbird Regine Velasquez is ramping up her social media presence lately; this time as she encourages everyone to get the COVID-19 vaccine shot.

Her most latest post about being a working mom, in which she detailed, "Ngayong araw na to we got to kiss and hug Nate. Kasi pag may work hindi talaga kami lumalapit sa kanya. And I’ve been missing him soooooo much. We got the results of our test today and we were both negative. Thank you Lord. Halos 2 weeks yata kaming hindi masyadong lumalapit kay Nate kaway kaway lang ang hirap!!!! Pero ok lang basta safe sya."

She went on, sharing her work schedule and that she will be PCR tested again, followed by a quick reminder for other working parents to be extra careful and consider getting the COVID-19 vaccine for the safety of their loved ones.

Regine wrote: "Nais ko rin po kayong I encourage na pag may pagkakaraon na po tayong lahat mag pabakuna gawin na po natin. Gaya nyo takot pa rin ako pero if their’s an opportunity to get the vaccine I hope that you guys will at least think about it. My husband and I will definitely (kung magkaron na) do it not just for as but for Nate na sa ngayon hindi pa pwedeng mag pabakuna.

"Let us also be informed and read about it (vaccination) hindi lang yung mga side effects basahin din natin yung posibleng tulong na magagawa nito para matapos na ang pandemic na ito," she ended.

On Saturday, March 20, the Philippines recorded a new record-high with 7,999 cases of COVID-19 in just one day.
