Proud parents Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff finally shared snippets from today's special day. Their daughter Dahlia turns one year old today.

True to their monthly floral theme, the parents had a small celebration with their one and only daughter in the garden. Over on Anne's Instagram stories, she posted a photo of the backdrop and thanked stylist Gideon Hermosa, "Thank you Gideon Hermosa for making these pieces and hunting down Dahlias for me. I didn't even know where to start looking. Thank you for making it happen kahit hirap sila to survive in this weather."

Meanwhile, Erwan posted more in his Instagram stories, including how the cake looked like, and Dahlia smashing it and feeding her mommy Anne.

"Here is to a year when absolutely nothing went according to plan, except for this little bright light. When days crawled and months raced by. When I became a student again and she, my teacher. Happy 1st birthday," posted Erwan.

Anne Curtis posted a poem:

She owns every little bit my heart.
Happy 1st Birthday to my Dahlia Amélie.
I love her to the moon and back infinity times

And to quote one of my favourite books by Robert Munsch that I love to read to her with so much feelings

“I’ll love you forever,
I’ll like you for always,
As long as I’m living, 
my baby you’ll be” ?

P.S. I promise to buy her clips for her bangs! Not ready to cut it yet!
