Since it started competing in the MPL, Blacklist International has been eager to break the code to become the best among the rest.

Blacklist was not able to do it in the previous seasons, but the arrival of the iconic "V33Wise" duo of mage-support Jonmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna and jungler Danerie James "Wise" Del Rosario makes it more possible to achieve this Season 7.

Following its first round playoff exit last season at the hands of Smart Omega, Blacklist went for an apparent trade with Onic PH involving its prodigy Kairi "FULL CLIP" Rayosdelsol (now simply known as "Kairi") and the latter's V33wise tandem.

The professional esports team of Tier One Entertainment also kept its reliable mainstays in tank Jayson "ESON" Gerardo (Season 2 champion with Cignal Ultra), side laner Edward "EDWARD" Dapadap and mage Dexter "DEX STAR" Alaba (sixth man) while acquiring another prodigy in side laner Kiel "Oheb" Soriano.

MPL veteran Kristoffer "BON CHAN" Ricaplaza, known for his unorthodox strategies, remains as the coach and is expected to formulate tactics with the help of captain OhMyV33nus.

To accommodate the new players, Blacklist also parted ways with Arvie "AQUA" Antonio (now with Cignal Ultra) and Archi "KIL LER" Valencia (Team Payaman Pro Team).

Blacklist is heading to the MPL PH Season 7 with so much momentum after winning back-to-back championships in the Juicy Legends Tournament wherein it recently took down Execration, 3-1, in the grand finals.

Wise, a two-time runner-up along with OhMyV33nus during their Onic days, even has a stern warning for their opponents in Moonton's professional league.

"'Pag kami ang nakalaban niyo at di nyo kami pinaghandaan, naku, yari kayo. (If you end up competing against us and you are unprepared, you guys are doomed)," said Wise in MPL's Bootcamp Raid segment MPL with casters Manjean Faldas and Rob Luna.

Blacklist is in Group B with Season 6 runner-up and M2 participant Smart Omega, Execration, Nexplay Solid and Laus Playbook Esports.

To open the season, Blacklist will battle former titlist Aura PH in the first game on March 21 at 2 p.m.
