Maja Salvador topbills TV5's 'Niña Niño'

Maja Salvador is back on television with her new home, TV5 and her upcoming series, "Niña Niño" on April 12.

A teaser was released by TV5 on March 5, showing Maja and her co-star, Noel Comia Jr., who won Best Actor in the 2017 Cinemalaya Film Festival.

Although the one-minute teaser didn't include actor Empoy Marquez, he is expected to be a part of the cast, who spilled some beans about the upcoming series in one of his vlogs on Feb. 12.

Not much details were disclosed but according to the poster of "Niña Niño," the series will start airing on April 12, 2021, a Monday, which means that it could be a daily series.

Some fans are assuming that Maja’s series will replace TV5’s only ongoing drama series "Paano Ang Pangako?" which airs Monday to Friday at 7:15 p.m.
