P-Pop sensation BGYO is aiming for higher goals as they shared their future plans for the group.
In an interview with "I Feel U" last Sunday, the five-piece boy group first looked back at their humble beginnings.
“Nung time na na-launch kami, hindi kami makapaniwala kasi yung pag-launch po sa amin, ang tagal na naming pinag-uusapan. Nung time na po na yun, hindi na kami makapaniwala talaga. Napaiyak na lang talaga kami,” they said.
They related: “Super grateful po kasi kahit sabihin mong may pandemic, nag-lockdown, nandiyan pa rin sila para suportahan kami kahit virtually lang nila kami nakikita.”

“They show support po hindi lang through simple likes and shares. They also support us through LED billboards. We appreciate that so much because even though pandemic, they still make a show to show their support,” the group added.
Because of this, they are determined to bring out the best in their performance. “Mas gagalingan pa namin kasi yung pressure nasa amin. Mas nag-e-expect yung tao. Kailangan naming panindigan. Kailangan naming mas higitan pa yun.”
Asked about their future plans, all of them agreed that they would love to stage their own concert.
Gelo, Akira, JL, Nate, and Mikki, now known as BGYO, used to be trainees dubbed as Star Hunt Academy Boys (SHA Boys).
They trained for nearly two years under ABS-CBN Entertainment Management. When they graduated as trainees last December, they were re-launched as BGYO in January with their debut single "The Light."
