Aljur Abrenica reposts Kris Bernal's statement on working with him again

Aljur Abrenica might have shared the same sentiments with his former on-screen partner, Kris Bernal, as he shared an Instagram post from her.

It all started when a netizen asked Kris: "Are you willing to work with Aljur Abrenica again?" Kris replied: "Yes! be(cause) it's been a long time since we had a project together. Now that we are grown ups, I hope to have a reunion on a movie or even a digital episode or what!"

Their love team which spanned from mid 2000s to the 2010s were known as "AlKris." It was GMA Network's answer to "KimErald," the love team of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson on ABS-CBN that time.

In a vlog last year, Aljur admitted falling in love with Kris then. But when his feeling for her was gone, it was the actress who fell in love with him, the hunk actor revealed.

Aljur explained: “Para ano, alam ninyo. Hindi lang kami nagka-abot. Mas nauna ko siyang nagustuhan. Then, dumating yung time na siya na yung nagkagusto sa akin.”

He added: “So nag-move forward kami. Tapos nagkaroon kami ng ibang klaseng friendship, grabe! So, yung onscreen, lahat, that’s more than blessing in disguise na maging magkaibigan talaga kami.

“Kesa sa nagkaroon ng serious relationship, kasi it could have been, di ba, baka masira sa set, di ba, pag nag-away kayo." Aljur ended.
