Latino power couple singer-actress Jennifer Lopez and former baseball star Alex Rodriguez have reportedly split, according to multiple sources in the US.

Lopez, 51, and Rodriguez, 45, have been together for four years. They were supposed to get married in 2020 but it was cancelled due to the pandemic.

The couple, who got engaged in March 2019, has called off their engagement and split.

Lopez and Rodriguez were last seen together in public in the Dominican Republic last February.

"This has been a long time coming. They are tied in their business worlds so it's not a cut and dry break up. It's taken a while for them to even think about untangling it all," a source told People's Magazine.

Both stars have not acknowledged the breakup but sources said the split has something to do with the scandal involving "Southern Charm" reality star Madison LeCroy.

A report by pagesix.com:

"In January, Twitter was set ablaze with speculation after the reunion special for Bravo’s 'Southern Charm' exposed red-hot allegations of infidelity involving an 'ex-MLB star' and breakout cast member Madison LeCroy.

"Then LeCroy revealed she had been FaceTiming with Rodriguez, but insisted they had not met in person.

“He’s never physically cheated on his fiancée with me,” LeCroy told Page Six in February. “I don’t want anything bad for his family, or for mine. We are definitely innocent in this.”

The source told Page Six, “The Madison LeCroy scandal was the reason they finally broke up. There were already problems, but Jennifer was really embarrassed by it.”

Sources close to Rodriguez also maintain they never met.

In August 2020, Lopez and Rodriguez tried to purchase the New York Mets baseball team but failed.

The New York Post reported that Lopez and Rodriguez planned to invest $300 million of their own funds into the offer.

When news broke out that Lopez and Rodriguez have separated, the former baseball star share a selfie on Instagram with the caption: "Don’t mind me, just taking a sail-fie ⛵️ What are your plans for the weekend?"
