Jacko temporarily out of Amihan ML due to 'driving without license', other issues

Just a little over one month after making his transition to Mobile Legends: Bang Bang to seek redemption, ex-Dota prodigy Mark Anthony "Jacko" Soriano's career in the mobile MOBA is now in danger.

Amihan Esports decided to temporarily remove Jacko from its ML roster, putting him under probationary status due to his "slow progress", "unacceptable attitude" and "violation of our management's contract", the team said on Saturday night, March 13.

In the comment section of its Facebook post, Amihan clarified that Jacko's violation was actually "driving without license". 

Amihan later edited its comment and said that Jacko's violation was actually "driving Johnson without license", adding that the player "doesn't even know how to start an engine of a car" and "is a pretty bad driver of the Johnson hero." Still, the punishment on Jacko remained.

Amihan downgraded its original decision to remove the beleaguered player, who is barred from playing in any tournament for now.

In late January, Jacko made his move from Dota 2 to ML to seek redemption for his involvement in the "PH 322 scandal of 2014" which heavily affected his career in the PC game. 

His transition looked smooth as he achieved Mythical Glory in just 10 days. 

However, a violation led to his provisional removal from the team and Amihan set some requirements for Jacko to fulfill until the end of the month, or else he will be kicked out of the organization.

Amihan wants Jacko to master the side lane (gold or EXP) role and win over its three players in Kramm, Anderrated and Ace in 1-versus-1 games.

The organization also stopped giving him allowances and salary, which amounts to P20,000 per month as the sixth man of Amihan.

Amihan made it clear that they are not doing this just for the clout and instead aim to tell a lesson.

The team added that Jacko has promised to man up and make up for his mistake in order to regain his spot in the Amihan ML squad.
