Valdez, Maraño, Espejo lead celebration amid huge developments in PH volleyball scene

Filipino volleyball stars Alyssa Valdez, Aby Maraño and Marck Espejo led the celebration on social media amid the huge developments surrounding the Philippine volleyball scene recently.
The three were among the many volleyball players who rejoiced on Twitter as the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers, the Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors and the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Crossovers took their acts to the Premier Volleyball League.
This, also amid the assignment by the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) to Odjie Mamon and Dante Alinsunurin as head coaches, respectively, for the national women's and men's volleyball teams.
"Magkakalaban pero magkasama sa iisang liga," wrote Creamline's Valdez on Twitter, accompanied with lots of heart emojis. "Historic day for ."
Maraño, who plays for F2 Logistics, likewise is happy with the recent development, using the hashtag #LetsMoveNow on her tweet.
The hashtag was used amid the exodus of several volleyball clubs from the Philippine Super Liga to the PVL. The Cargo Movers also opened their announcement with the same hashtag, thanking the PSL before declaring their PVL transfer.
Espejo, for his part, believed that this is just the beginning of another chapter for Philippine volleyball.
Julia Morado, Sisi Rondina, Eya Laure, Bea de Leon, Marge Tejada, Denise Lazaro, Ponggay Gaston and Dani Ravena also took their excitement on social media.
Former volleyball athlete-turned-television host Gretchen Ho wore a green dress to show support to the La Salle community represented by F2 Logistics while reporting the development as sports anchor for TV5's Frontline Pilipinas.
PVL president Ricky Palou extended his gratitude for the trust given to him by F2 Logistics, Sta. Lucia and Chery Tiggo.
"We are delighted to have F2 Logistics, Chery Tiggo and Sta. Lucia into our fold and words could not express the gratitude I have for their respective team owners," said Palou, referring to Efren Uy, Rommel Sytin and Exe Robles, respectively.
