Food delivery services exempted from Metro curfew - MMC


Food delivery services are exempted from the unified curfew in Metro Manila which will be implemented starting March 15, Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez said Friday (March 12).

“Sa guidelines po na nilabas ng Metro Manila Council, exempted po ‘yan (Based on the guidelines that the MMC released, they are exempted),” Olivarez, who is also the chairman of the MMC, told DZRH.

Olivarez said delivery services are still allowed to operate for 24 hours.

“Delivery by application, by call, 24 hours po (that’s 24 hours),” he said.

Take-outs and dine-ins after 10 p.m. however will not be allowed, the mayor added.

The MMC on Thursday (March 11) agreed to enforce a unified curfew from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting March 15.
