70th Miss World pageant to be held in Puerto Rico on Dec. 16

The 70th Miss World beauty pageant will be held at the Coca Cola Music Hall in Puerto Rico on Dec. 16, 2021, it was announced on Facebook.

This is the first time that the Miss World finals will be staged in Latin America. The 2020 edition was originally scheduled in Dec. 2020 but it was postponed due to the pandemic.

So far, the Philippines has won the Miss World title once when actress Megan Lynne Young was crowned in Indonesia in 2013.

Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica will crown her successor at the end of the show.
